One more January Birthday!

Guess who turns 4 today… 🐶🎂

Our third and final K9 Birthday for the month of January is Jett! When he’s not fighting bad guys and keeping our community safe, Jett loves to go to the park and play with his ball.

We all wish him an awesome birthday!

Meet our new pups!

We know you’ve all been waiting (im)patiently to meet our new K9s. Well, today is the day!! Introducing, Axel and Ace!! They have passed all their tests, become accustomed to their new surroundings, and love their new families! Both dogs are Czech Shepherds. We are so happy to have them here and see what great things they will do for our community!

Happy 2022

Reposting this from our Facebook page:

K9 Titus popped by to say Happy New Year!! and that we at K9 Partners hope you all have a wonderful, safe 2022, filled with joy, laughter and everything you hope for! (…what’s that Titus? oh, ok, yeah, I’ll add that….) And lots of doggie treats and toys! haha

A big thank you to all of you who have supported K9 Partners over the past year. We couldn’t do it without you!

Great Donation from Scheels

Many thanks to Scheels at Legends for their generous donation to Washoe County K9 Partners. It’s greatly appreciated and will help us to continue to help our Sheriff’s Office K9s. Deputy Durham and Kyago were at the check presentation ceremony.

Thanks also to our Pillar Partner KOLO Cares for covering the story. View their news coverage below.

K9 Ava Lights Up Shop with the Sheriff event

On Tuesday, December 7th, over 200 Washoe County Sheriff Deputy Sheriffs, Sheriff’s Office employees, Washoe County Honorary Deputy Sheriffs, volunteers, family members and one K9 reindeer joined Sheriff Darin Balaam for the 19th Annual Shop with the Sheriff event.

This year, 250 children, escorted by volunteers, shopped at the Sparks Walmart Supercenter On Pyramid. Each child could spend up to $200 for family gifts. Funding for the event, totaling $50,000, was provided through the Washoe County Honorary Deputy Sheriff’s Association (WCHDSA) and through the inaugural WCHDSA Golf tournament. See the whole story at the WCSO website.

Kissing K9
One lucky shopper got a K9 kiss!

K9 Ava attended this event with her partner Deputy Harris and had a chance to meet the happy shoppers.
